In 2011 the Vespa World Days reaches the northernmost location in the history of the great Vespa rallies. This is the city of Gjøvik, in the county of Innlandet, in the southern part of Norway. Over a thousand Vespas registered, 150 Vespa Clubs from 20 nations give life to the 2011 edition between 19 and 22 May which begins with an excursion to Lillehammer, where the 1994 Winter Olympics took place and is the scene of a long, colorful procession over eight km. On Saturday evening, at the gala dinner, the “Vespa Trophy” award ceremony takes place, which also in its second edition sees the success of the Italians from San Damiano d’Asti, who reach their destination after 3,000 km of travel through seven countries of Europe.
