For four unforgettable days, Rome became the world capital of Vespa. Thousands of Vespisti from every continent gathered to celebrate the 80th anniversary of an icon that has united generations through freedom, friendship and the joy of riding.
From spectacular parades to international competitions, from cultural experiences to unforgettable evenings, VESPA ROMA 2026 was a celebration of everything that makes the Vespa community unique.

Migliaia di Vespisti provenienti da ogni continente si sono ritrovati per celebrare gli ottant’anni di un’icona che continua a unire generazioni nel segno della libertà, dell’amicizia e della passione per il viaggio.
Dalle spettacolari parate alle competizioni internazionali, dalle esperienze turistiche ai momenti di festa, VESPA ROMA 2026 ha rappresentato tutto ciò che rende unica la comunità Vespa.
VESPA AND ROME
The year 1946 marked the birth of both Vespa and the Italian Republic, with Rome as its capital.
Since then, Vespa and Rome have shared a unique bond. At a pivotal moment in history, they became universal symbols of freedom, beauty, style and optimism, inspiring generations around the world. Through cinema, art and culture, Rome helped establish Vespa as an icon recognized far beyond Italy’s borders.
Eighty years later, that story came full circle. From 25 to 28 June 2026, Rome welcomed the international Vespa community to celebrate the 80th anniversary of an icon, creating new memories in the city where so much of its legend was born.

Il 1946 ha segnato la nascita della Vespa e della Repubblica Italiana, con Roma come sua capitale.
Da allora Vespa e Roma hanno condiviso un legame unico. In un momento cruciale della storia sono diventate simboli universali di libertà, bellezza, stile e rinascita, ispirando generazioni in tutto il mondo. Attraverso il cinema, l’arte e la cultura, Roma ha contribuito a rendere la Vespa un’icona riconosciuta ben oltre i confini italiani.
Ottant’anni dopo, quella storia è tornata nel luogo dove tutto ebbe inizio. Dal 25 al 28 giugno 2026, Roma ha accolto la comunità internazionale del Vespa World Club per celebrare gli 80 anni di un’icona, scrivendo insieme un nuovo capitolo di questa straordinaria storia.
Vespa Village
The heart of VESPA ROMA 2026 was the Vespa Village at Foro Italico.
More than a meeting point, it was a place where riders could meet, discover new products, enjoy live entertainment, attend official ceremonies and experience the international atmosphere that makes every Vespa World Club event unique.

Sport has always been an essential part of Vespa World Club event.
The Vespa Rally European Championship and the Vespa Gymkhana World Championship brought together riders from different nations to compete in two disciplines that combine riding skills, precision, navigation and passion.
These competitions once again demonstrated that Vespa is not only a way to travel, but also a way to challenge yourself while sharing unforgettable experiences.

🇮🇹 Lo sport rappresenta da sempre uno degli elementi distintivi degli eventi del Vespa World Club.
Il Vespa Rally European Championship e il Vespa Gymkhana World Championship hanno riunito equipaggi provenienti da numerosi Paesi, mettendo alla prova abilità di guida, precisione, orientamento e spirito sportivo.
Due competizioni che confermano come la Vespa sia non solo un mezzo per viaggiare, ma anche uno straordinario strumento di aggregazione e confronto.
A journey through images, design, and freedom
An exhibition dedicated to the Vespa’s 80th anniversary, designed to trace the evolution of an Italian icon that has become a global symbol of style, freedom, and mobility.
Through a selection of images from the Piaggio historical archive and other prestigious archives, as well as photographs taken specifically for the occasion, the exhibition takes visitors on a journey across eras, cultures, and generations: from the origins of the legend to its presence in the contemporary imagination.
A visual narrative celebrating Vespa as a protagonist of mobility, culture, cinema, art, and daily life, capturing all the energy of an icon that has been speaking to the world for 80 years.
The photographic exhibition is curated by master photographer Giacomo Bretzel, an internationally renowned artist, in collaboration with Condé Nast Traveller Italia.
In addition to the photographic exhibition, the display will feature a selection of special Vespa models, historic vehicles, and pieces that represent a unique legacy.
This is an opportunity to get an up-close look at the details, designs, and stories that have helped make the Vespa instantly recognizable around the world: not just a mode of transportation, but a symbol of Italian creativity, passion and freedom.
Vespa Meets Urban Art
To celebrate its 80th anniversary, Vespa has unveiled a monumental urban artwork created by Italian illustrator Federico Epis in collaboration with Outdoora.
The mural offers a contemporary interpretation of the enduring bond between Vespa and Rome, celebrating the values that have made Vespa an icon across generations: freedom, movement, discovery and the joy of sharing experiences.

Per celebrare il suo 80° anniversario, Vespa ha realizzato una monumentale opera di urban art firmata dall’illustratore italiano Federico Epis in collaborazione con Outdoora.
Il murale interpreta in chiave contemporanea il legame che da sempre unisce Vespa e Roma, celebrando i valori che hanno reso Vespa un’icona attraverso le generazioni: libertà, movimento, scoperta e piacere della condivisione.

During VESPA ROMA 2026, registered Vespisti had the opportunity to attend the 62nd Settecolli IP Trophy – International Swimming Meet, held at the Stadio del Nuoto, Foro Italico, from 26 to 28 June, thanks to a special discounted ticket agreement.
A unique opportunity to experience world-class swimming just a few steps away from the Vespa Village.
