VESPA RALLY EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP – “80 YEARS of an ICON” ROUND

This VESPA Rally European Championship consists of different tourist regularity events organized by affiliated Vespa Clubs under the supervision of the Vespa World Club.
Reference is made to the Vespa World Club guidelines for each point, except:
Il Campionato Europeo Vespa Rally è articolato in diverse manifestazioni turistiche di regolarità organizzate dai Vespa Club affiliati con la supervisione del Vespa World Club.

2) LENGTH OF THE EVENTCOURSE / LUNGHEZZA DEL PERCORSO
The total route length is approximately 90 km, divided over two days:
Thursday 25 June: approx. 25 km
Friday 26 June: approx. 65 km

4) FEATURES / CARATTERISTICHE
The Rome Round includes:
2 Special Stages (SS)
3 Time Controls (TC)
1 Time Stamp Checks (TSC)
4 Stamp Checks (SC)
Given the unique nature of the venue (the metropolitan city of Rome), this edition will, as an exception, accept fewer TCs.
La Tappa di Roma comprende:

4 Controlli Timbro (CT)
Vista la particolarità della location (città metropolitana di Roma) questa edizione accetta in deroga meno TC.
5) EVENT DIRECTION / DIREZIONE MANIFESTAZIONE
The Event Director will be: Antonio Mango assisted by the technical staff and organizing committee.
Il Direttore della Manifestazione sarà: Antonio Mango coadiuvato dallo staff tecnico e dal comitato organizzatore.
6) SPECIAL STAGES / PROVE SPECIALISS as per general guidelines
Special Stage schedule: No Stop – TC – SS1 –SS2 – No Stop except for the last Special stage that will be No Stop – SS1 –SS2 – No Stop.
Participants will enter not in order of event number but in the order in which they arrive at the start line.
The latest time for arriving at the start of the final special stage after 60 minutes according to the departure time of first test.
This is not a speed trial.

L’orario massimo per presentarsi all’ingresso dell’ultima prova speciale è fissato 60 minuti rispetto all’orario delle precedente prova di abilità

11) ROAD BOOK / ROAD BOOK
As per the official 2026 Vespa Rally Guidelines except: given the nature of the urban area of Rome, a GPX file will also be provided for the route from Vespa Village to the outskirts of the city. The Road Book (RB) will clearly indicate the point at which this file ends, after which you should resume standard navigation by following the route notes. The same procedure will apply on the return journey into the city, but in the opposite direction.
Come da Linee Guida Ufficiali Vespa Rally 2026.eccetto:viste le caratteristiche dell’area urbana di Roma, dal Vespa Village, fino a fuori città sarà fornito anche un file in formato GPX. Sul RB sarà indicata chiaramente la nota dove tale file si interrompe per riprendere la classica navigazione seguendo le note. Anche al rientro in città stessa procedura, al contrario.
In addition, on the second day, there will be escorts to guide the Vespa riders to tourist attractions so they don’t get lost in Rome.
In aggiunta il secondo giorno sono previste delle staffette per scortare i Vespisti nei luoghi turistici senza perdersi per Roma.

13) ADDITIONAL TESTS / ALTRE PROVE
None unless otherwise communicated by bulletin. Nessuna salvo comunicazioni ufficiali.
14) PARTICIPANTS / PARTECIPANTI
As per official guidelines, except:
Maximum accepted entries: 120 Vespisti
Wild Cards may be evaluated by the organizers
The passenger must, in any case, hold the same licences, VC membership cards and personal insurance policies as the rider. There are no exceptions to this rule; therefore, under no circumstances may the rider enter the Special Stage with a passenger on board.
No passenger is allowed during Special Stages

Il passeggero dovrà comunque aver le stesse licenze, tessere VC ed assicurazioni personali del conduttore. Non ci sono deroghe invece, quindi non è possibile, in nessun caso, che il Vespista entri in Prova Speciale con il passeggero a bordo.

Each participant receives an official starting number to be placed on the Vespa on the front shield.
