More than two thousand Vespa riders take part in the gala dinner in the Saturday evening, over three thousand Vespas invade the O2 Arena in Greenwich, including those who arrived from Canada and Argentina. Another Italian Vespa Club wins the Vespa Trophy, the tourism competition among Vespa riders created with the collaboration of Piaggio dealers in over 25 countries: the winner is the Vespa Club Sirmione, which totals 1,610 km to reach the British capital.
