Vespa World Days 2014 - Mantova (Italy)
A parade of over ten kilometers of Vespas characterizes the 2014 edition of the Vespa World Days, which takes place in the city of Mantua, in the Lombardy region, in Italy. During the four days of the event, from 12 to 15 June, 32 national Vespa Clubs and as many as 310 local clubs are present. The Vespa Village welcomes this huge number of Vespa riders by offering a vehicle exhibition organized by the Piaggio Museum, while on Friday an elegance contest is held with vintage vehicles organized by the Italian Vespa Historic Register.
Also present was the “Motoplex”, an exhibition space of 1,300 square meters dedicated to the latest generation Piaggio products. The highlight is the crossing of the San Giorgio bridge immediately after the start of the parade of thousands and thousands of Vespas led by the President of the organizing Club, Claudio Federici. On Saturday evening, a big party with the presence of the President of the Vespa World Club Martin Stift, his predecessor Roberto Leardi and the award ceremony of the “Vespa Trophy”.
